Die Aufnahmen [1862 | 1] und [1862 | 2] lassen
ahnen, welche Fülle an Objekten aus Industrie, Handwerk,
Kunsthandwerk und anderen Bereichen die Ausstellungsräume
nicht nur füllten, sondern zum Teil auch überfüllten.
Der bis heute berühmte Crystal Palace von 1851 war bereits
an seinen neuen Standort in Sydenham wieder errichtet worden.
