"The "Trottoir Roulant",
the moving platform or revolving sidewalk is a
moving footpath, which is settled on wheels and
rails. It consists on three platform: the first
dont move; the second moves with moderate
speed; the third is moving with double speed of
the second platform. .. A further unpleasantness
of the moving platform is the lot of noise it
makes. The passengers of the moving sidewalk dont
notice it as much as the people who live in the
streets, where the platform is realised. This
people have to notice the monton rolling the whole
day long and maintain it will be worse than a
student of the conservatorium is exercising scales
from morning till night. Yes, some of this neighbours
even have exerted processes against the moving
platform company."
