The world exposition of 1878 in Paris consist of 2 opposite main buildings, which were seperated by the Seine and connected by the "Pont d’Iéna".

The Industrial Palace with a width of 300 metres (([1878 | 1] shows the left half of the front) and length of 600 metres was pulled down at the end of the exposition.

A special detail of the view of the Trocadero Palace: in the front can be seen another person – but only half transparent- and let you notice the long time of exposure that are still nescessary.
